1.A ladder (a tall stepladder) in my hallway.
I have neither a hallway nor a ladder.
interestingly enough, this dream associates in my mind with a friend who passed within a few days of the dream.
3.
attending a get-together for a certain online group. get together was, roughly, here. (MidWest; Upper Mississippi/Ohio Valley River Regions) I was living in California, in LA -- I think house-sitting for someone, and decided to drive back and forth the last two nights (after i got off "work")
There had somehow become two factions in the group. One side was too serious; the other side was too much fun. The rivalry caused some to start checking out early and others to go into a secret clubhouse mindset, which included climbing through cloth blocks (like cat toys). Bet you can guess which side was doing what.
I found out some of the details of this by buying an Archies comic book from a bubblegum-type dispenser, that required being picked up, turned upside-down, and finally the use of pliers to turn the knob.
Someone came in and was telling me of the differences and i said something along the lines of "that's silly," and left the hotel to go get money from an ATM. When I returned, I saw half the sensibles were checking out and it was then that I observed the cat-like entry to the secret fun clubhouse. When I sensibly asked if I could enter, they agreed but I did not have to do the climbing and slithering to get inside. (Thank goodness.)
**I have no interpretation of this.**
2.
This dream was chronologically second, but I listed it last because it seems to me the most relevant and many aspects of it are interpretable. Many aspects are still obscure, but it is over all the most relatable of the dreams.
My dad and my brother Chip helping me work on a house. A real house, not a trailer. Specifically, Daddy was showing me something on/in the roof. He was standing on a ladder, removing drop-tiles. I was standing on floor beside ladder looking up into rafters and (noticeably clean) structure details. Chip was on the floor, off to the side. Possibly standing in a doorway. We were all three conversing in general terms. See this; do that; you should; it ought to; this will; look here; look there; what?; how?; etc.
in interpreting this.
First, Warren and I have had occasion to discuss roof/ceiling difference.
Second, Tammy and I are still on the lookout for a 4 bedroom home, or a three bedroom with a live-in-able outbuilding (not necessarily with bathroom and kitchen; but with room for personal space.) We are looking for something in the 600 to 800 range. Old and quirky is fine -- an outsized farmhouse would be perfect. We would like something in the general Mt. Orab area, but will look further for the "right" place at the "right" price.Third, I had been told that Chip has a 4 bed place not too far out of our area. It is out of our price range, from what I understood.
Not really sure what these dreams are telling me. To aspire, perhaps. To know that family and friends are available? Dream high(er), expect what is, accept what is. Or is it to dream higher and let go of the past? Or build from the past? Raise the roof?
More dreams and more time, and muddling around with the words should help. Some message seems to be trying to get through. through rain snow sleet cold death and darkness.
